Belonging Beyond Borders

As a half-Japanese, half-German individual, I grew up in Japan and now live in Germany.

From a young age, I often felt that I belonged to both cultures, yet fully belonged to neither.

That's why, with this shop, I want to cherish not only the products but also the connections with people and cultures.

Living in Germany, I often struggled with the question of where I belonged, as I wasn't yet fluent in either Japanese or German.

Stories of Belonging

Customers who purchase products will receive a story card handmade by Julia!

The purpose of this card is not just to deliver the product, but to also deliver the German culture and lifestyle behind it ♡

For example,

🛍️ If it's a German supermarket eco-bag
→ Why are eco-bags standard in Germany?

🍫 If it's German chocolate
→ What kind of sweets do Germans usually eat?

and so on, we will introduce the story behind the product.

Additionally, for some products, I plan to include my own experiences and memories as "Yuria's comment."

In this shop, I hope to deliver not only products but also the stories and connections beyond them 🇩🇪✨

Tell me your story.

Have you ever been confused by cultural differences, met a new community, or experienced a moment of growth? Why not share your story?

Support my activities

I am working towards creating a society where "everyone can have a place where they can be themselves." Driven by this vision, this page shares messages about "connections" and "belonging" that transcend cultural and background differences. I also resonate with UNICEF's work in Inclusive Education, as it aligns with my values. I believe that a society where all children, regardless of disability or background, can learn safely and grow authentically, largely overlaps with the "world where everyone is accepted" that I aspire to. As part of this initiative, proceeds from sales at this shop will be donated to UNICEF. Furthermore, if you are interested in UNICEF's work, I encourage you to explore their activities yourself. I believe that small connections can become a force that supports someone's future.
